Who is Henventory for?
Anyone with chickens and a curiosity about their eggs.

Henventory helps chicken keepers โ€” from backyard broods to small-scale farms โ€” track egg production.

Whether you have three hens or three dozen, Henventory answers questions like:

  • ๐ŸฅšHow many eggs do I get per day, on average?
  • ๐ŸฅšDo my Rhode Island Reds lay more than my Barred Rocks?
  • ๐ŸฅšWhich of my chickens is Employee of the Month?
What are 'flock mode' and 'layer mode'?
Two ways to count: by the basket, or by the bird.

๐Ÿชบ Flock mode tracks only how many eggs you collect and when โ€” the core Henventory experience.

๐Ÿ” Layer mode tracks each hen individually: how many eggs each one lays through the week, month, and year. Think of it as Henventory with some bells & whistles.

  • ๐Ÿฅšyou have a small farm with too many chickens to track individually
  • ๐Ÿฅšyou're interested in how many eggs you get each day (instead of who's laying what)
  • ๐Ÿฅšyour hens lay eggs that look similar (or identical) to one another
  • ๐Ÿฅšyou only check for eggs once or twice a day
โžก๏ธ You might want layer mode if:
  • ๐Ÿฅšyou can tell your hens' eggs apart
  • ๐Ÿฅšyou have a few different breeds and want to compare their productivity, peak egg-laying seasons, etc.
  • ๐Ÿฅšyou check for eggs frequently throughout the day
